We ran cross Motorcars Inc in Plainville, CT where they have about 60 Jaguars in stock (woo-hoo) and service and restore the things as well as sales. In the big city we sawUptown Motors in Bronx, NY, Gullwing Motor Car in Astoria, NY, and on Long Island we visited Joe Curto Inc (the carburetor guy) in College Point, NY. Heading up state we stopped at Michael's Euro Auto Services in Hopewell Junction, NY, where we found two Michaels (father and son) working on vintage British race cars, primarily Elva and Lotus but other "orphan British" as well. We stopped at Morgan Motors of New England in Copake, NY, a new car dealer still selling and servicing Morgan cars. Another shop visit was EM Motors in Stanley, NY servicing vintage British cars for decades, as well as building a new generation British (style) sports car in kit form.
