Fall Tune-down & Chili Party
November 4, 2012
It was a glorious day—not too cold and not too hot. I top-down drive to Dave’s place caught the attention of quite a few eyes. The driving season is not over yet!.
As usual, Dave had plenty of chili waiting and some liq-uid libations to wash it all down. Oh yeah, we did work on a few cars while we were there. The low lift drive-over hoist cam in handy to do underbody inspection, a few oil changes, and some tune-up work.
There were some questions regarding spot weld-ers so Dave broke out the club’s tool and demonstrated the usage of this tool. Pretty easy!
This year we addressed a throttle linkage problem in Doug Clark’s MGC, performed a minor tune up and completed various oil changes. No real problems
noted this year. All the cars were in good shape.
Thanks again to Dave for letting us use his garage and tools for this event.
