Past Driving Events:
Halloween Rally: Last Sunday in November, with 23 cars, through the northern suburbs. Despite a “Courtesy Notice” from the Lake County Forest Preserve, the rally was a large success!
Fall tune-down party: About 15 cars showed up, but the local sheriff didn’t show up this year. Despite that, oil changes were successfully done, and there were no “OH my gosh!” issues.
Westmont Car Show: Which included the first-ever Chicagoland MG Club Walking Rally!

Staff Reports
Website: Up and running, and Driveline advertisers now have ads on the clubs homepage. It turns out about 80,000 people hit the webpage per month, and on average view about 4 pages each.
Finance: This month we’re at about break-even. Although we’ve had to move money to amongst accounts to keep from having to pay bank charges. New advertisers are coming on board, which help offset the costs of the club, and help prevent an increase in member dues.
Membership: 2 new members joined bringing the total to about 266 members.
Library: A couple of new books about the early races in the United States.
Regalia: Nothing on offer tonight, because Lisa and Dino couldn’t make it tonight.
Driving Events: The club is looking for somebody to organize the Spring Weekend tour, which has been the Secrets of Jo Davies tour. If interested, please contact an officer, or Reinout.
Roving Reporter: Barney is on his way to sunny, and warm, Florida.
Driveline: Articles are due Friday (the 21st)
Next meeting, is January 19th, so NO meeting in December.
No new business.
Meeting ended at 9:11PM.
Yours respectfully,
David Novak
Secretary
