Meanwhile we did get a day off to visit a couple more local car enthusiasts near Bolivar. One of the cars of interest is a 1979 MG Midget 1500 with rebuilt engine, pending installation of a "correct" radiator and a moderate heat metal repair in the driver side floor.

Then I think we will be done here and heading south for warmer weather. Got a bit of snow here last night to remind me we should be heading on to follow our mission. In the past four weeks the price of gasoline here dropped from $2.13.9 to $1.77.9 per gallon. I'm rooting for $1.69.9 and I think it has a good chance of happening, just in time for more long distance travel.

Chicagoland MG Club Staff Position Elections The Chicagoland MG Club consists of a membership of over 260 members; the majority residing in the Chicagoland area. The club is staffed with four elected officials and currently eight support staff positions. Staff members meet once a month. Being a club staff member is an honored position and is truly rewarding. As we prepare for our 40th Anniversary in the year 2016, we will need strong leadership moving forward. You as an active member in good standing it is your obligation to cast your vote for the candidates running for the staff positions.
