Fall Tune-Down & Chili Party

 As usual, the weather was perfect and the chili in great supply. A total of 15 cars were on hand to take part in this annual event — most only needing an oil change. There were a few challenges but were successfully rectified. Thanks again to Dave ‘Cowboy’ Bralich for hosting this event in his garage.

Every other year in January, Amtrak permitting, we travel to the fantastic Greenfield Inn in Dearborn and spend a Saturday at the North American International Auto Show. This is the Auto Show year and, if you like to see cutaway engines, gearboxes and usually, whole cars, this is the place to visit. We socialize on the way there but are generally too tired and content to do much more than read and doze on the way back. And a big advantage is that you lose only one day from work. And for all we can guess, that day in January may well be a snow day anyway.
