Wow…Winter is here.
Even though our cars are under wraps (well most of them maybe) there is still a lot of action and activity with the Chicagoland MG Club.
The club’s MGB-GT project car is well underway. Many members have assembled in Tom Raddatz’s garage to remove rusted panels, weld new stuff, clean parts for later installation and many other tasks to get the car back on the road and maybe learn some new facts about car restoration.
The CMGC Website committee has put a lot of effort into making our new website a thing of beauty and of great usefulness. Anthony D’Arco, Tim Schafer, Paul Pickley, Melissa Gonzales, Barney Gaylord and Ray Hansen are putting the finishing touches and functionality in preparation for a rollout later this quarter.
Driving events are being planned to start with the Amtrak Road Trip in early February. This will be followed with the Annual Swap Meet in March and Spring Tune-up in April. So you see, there are things starting to happen.
See you on the road.
