EDITOR’S CORNER

Where does the time go? Several years ago, someone told me that “When you retire, you’ll have all the time in the world to tackle those projects that had eluded you for years”. Well, I retired maybe 11 years ago, and I still have not found the time to tackle the tasks I wanted to do. My ‘project car’ is still quite the project waiting to happen and I seem to be busier now that when I ‘worked for a living’. There just seems to be more things needing attention than before. Maybe my priorities have changed, or maybe I just move slower than before.

Maybe the adage, ‘time is like a log table on a slide rule – the farther along the rule, the closer the numbers are together’. Time goes faster as we age and cannot finalize as many projects as in the past. I suspect that I will need to prioritize my future tasks and attempt to finish one project before starting a new one.

Oh-Oh! Time is running out… need to finish this article before going to press!

See you on the road.
