Come and get front row parking for Highland Games. Highland Games features multiple events including dog show, rugby, parade of the tartans, Midwest pipe band, Highland dance, caber toss, sheaf toss, weight throw and hammer. Whisky tent (additional charge) for navigators.

(The Chicago Scottish festival and Highland Games will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 17-18, 2022.) - The British car show will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, 9am to 1pm. You can stay later. This is front row parking.

There is $30 registration fee includes entry of your car in the car show and entry to the Games for you and a guest on Saturday. The $30 fee is the same as the Saturday entry fee for a single adult, so this is a great bargain! Please note that on Saturday, the car show volunteers willonly be able to accept cash or a check. We will not be able to handle credit cards.

Location:
The Games will be held on the Hamilton Lakes property in Itasca, IL. This is near the intersection of I-290 and Thorndale Ave. Hamilton Lakes is north of Thorndale Ave., South of Devon Ave., West of Arlington Heights road and east of I-290. The Games can be reached from either north or south-bound I-290 at the Thorndale exit.

Celebrate Father’s Day at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. Since 1994, the BLACKHAWK VINTAGE CLASSIC has provided race fans of all ages the thrill and excitement of pre-war car racing in combination with a vintage car show and vintage aircraft that fly in for display.

The activities will last through the weekend, but the important race for us would be on Saturday. There will be field of five MGs— 2 of them from the CMGC. Come out and cheer them on. It is suggested to arrive before 10:30 am Saturday to witness this event.

The Vintage Classic is sanctioned by the Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association (VSCDA). Over 150 cars from across the country participate annually in the Vintage Classic.
