To go along with Karel’s postcard about the introduction of the MGB, here is a greetings card with beautiful artwork of an early MGB in Iris Blue, just like the car that was featured on the cover of November issue, with the first road test, of Road & Track.

And of course, just like the MGB of the past-president, AvivA Hoffmann, of the Peachtree MG Registry (she has an original of the card and of the magazine). The card was published by Golden Era in 1995 and unfortunately, the name of artist is not listed, only the initials RW next to the left rear-wheel.

The text on the card is “MGB 1962, Illustrated is an early roadster from 1962 finished in Iris Blue with blue hood and running on standard equipment disc wheels".
