Monthly Column of Driving Events

Hello all!!!

I feel like I am a recording……there is nothing to report on any events from last month or this month. It is so sad and unfortunate we all can’t see each other and just “HANG OUT”!!

Not to put any salt in the wounds, but this month we all should have been showcasing our cars at the British Car Festival that would have taken place September 13th. That’s is pretty much all that was scheduled on calendar for this month.

OK….TIME FOR SEPTEMBER FUN FACTS (my ongoing monthly “article filler”) The first day of fall is typically on September 22 or September 23 in North America. This is when the hours in the day are almost equal to the hours in the night. It’s the second equinox of the year, followed by the first equinox that takes place in March. Most people look at the first day of fall as the official end of the summer.
September is the most active month for hurricanes in the Atlantic.
Elias Howe patented his sewing machine

September is the only month with the same number of letters in its number and name; September is the ninth month and has nine letters in its name
September was once a month with only 29 days until Julius Caesar’s calendar reform.
According to US stats, more babies on average are born in September than any other month of the year. Interesting to note Labour Day is also celebrated in some countries in September.
Labor Day is the most well-known holiday in September. It is observed every year on the first Monday in September.
Grandparent's Day is observed in the United States on the first Sunday after Labor Day.
The autumn equinox, which is the traditional transition from summer into fall, takes place on or around September 22nd, depending on the year.
September 5th: National Cheese Pizza Day
September 9th: National Teddy Bear Day
  September 16th: National Play-Doh Day
September 19th: International "Talk Like A Pirate Day"

Have a WONDERFUL LABOR DAY!!!!!!
