Welcome to the new normal. This will be the 13th time I have hosted this event. Since over the past years there has always been less than 25 individuals who show up and we have room to distance from each other. The event is outside and in my open garage. So, masks are not required, but if you do go inside, I ask that you put on your mask (Thanks).

Do you know what your winter project will be? If not come by and I am sure we can find something that should be done before next year’s driving season. I have a low-lift hoist so we can do some underbody inspection or brake work. End of the driving season is time for oil changes, some tune-up work or minor repairs. Bring your own parts, oil and a jug for oil disposal (and yes, you will take your own away).

Amtrak Road Trip
January 24-26, 2020

This is preliminary announcement of the upcoming trip to Detroit in February via Amtrak. Details are still in the making but here is the current info for planning purposes:

Where:	Union Station Chicago to Dearborn Michigan
When:	Leave 03 February 2023; return 05 February 2023
Staying:	Greenfield Inn, Allen Park Michigan—Hotel details to follow; price about $125 per night; individual registrations
Touring:	Henry Ford Museum and environs

We have recently traveled to and stayed at the Best Western Greenfield Inn and have found everything to be as it was prior to COVID, with the sole exception that the shuttle to/from the Amtrak Station has been suspended but is operated from the hotel to the Ford Museum.

What you need to do:
  please inform us if you plan to go;
  make your reservations as advised in the next December Driveline;
  keep your COVID injections current.
