IT’S DECEMBER EVERYONE!!!!
Time to take out our holiday decorations and lights to brighten up what has literally been a very gloomy year.

I almost contemplated putting up my holiday decorations this year. I just did not feel in the “mood”, but that Holiday spirit keeps nudging at me….and I know I will LOVE pulling everything out again and having things that make me smile and feel good and most of all happy! Regardless of everything going on in the world - it is the most BEAUTIFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!

On a bright note, I would like to report that the Fall Tune down did take place November 1st at Dave Bralich’s house. 9 Members showed up. Dave once again had a successful event and we all enjoyed his DELICIOUS CHILI!!!!

Although there will not be a Holiday party this year, I encourage everyone to stay in touch via Zoom, emails or pick up the phone and say hello!!!

    it is the first month of winter and the last month of the year

    December 4th National Cookie Day Other snacks celebrated this month include pie, cotton candy, chocolate brownies (mmm!), cocoa, and cupcakes.

    December often marks the beginning of rain, snow, and cold weather.

    December in the Northern Hemisphere is similar to June in the Southern Hemisphere.

    December 4th – Santa’s List Day – hope you are on the “nice list”

    December 12th – National Poinsettia Day

    December 14th – Roast Chestnut Day

    December 19th – Look for an Evergreen Day

    December 20th – Go Caroling Day

    The first day of winter is on either December 21 or 22. This is the shortest day of the year and the longest night. It is called the winter or Southern solstice in the Northern Hemisphere.

    December 25th – Christmas Day

    December 31st – New Year’s Eve – GOODBYE 2020!!!!
