The Steering
Column

The driving season is almost over. By and large we have had a very successful year. The driving events showed a little more variety than in the past, and attendance was good. The club's showing at the University Motors Picnic was fantastic. With the exception of the local Grand Rapids club, we had the highest turnout of any club. Members took home a number of awards for their cars and for driving events, but more importantly, everybody had a good time. Thanks to Don Anderson for finding the Big Buck Microbrewery.
I'm glad to say that there is still some driving season left. There is Abingdon, the British Car Festival, the Siemens Autocross, and the Lucas Night Rally. Please come out and enjoy the events.
