2023 – University Motors Summer Party Reunion, Aug. 18th-19th

The MG Summer Party Reunion is back for the first time since 2014. We’ve missed you! And this year there’s a lot to celebrate. It’s the 100th anniversary of MG and the 50th anniversary of John Twist’s career as an MG mechanic. So let’s have a party!

We have activities planned for Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19 at our traditional Grand Rapids locations – the DoubleTree Hotel and Douglas Walker Park. On Sunday, August 20 there will be time for goodbyes before heading home.

Since it’s our first reunion after a 9 year gap and a global pandemic, we’re keeping it simple. No awards, no races, just MG aficionados and their cars enjoying a summer weekend.

Saturday, August 19

7:00 – 9:00 Breakfast on your own at hotel (Ganders Restaurant) or nearby restaurant
9:30-10:00 am MG Caravan from hotel to Douglas Walker Park
10:00 am – 3:00 pm Saturday celebration at Douglas Walker Park (84th Street). Reunion admission is $40 per car, must be purchased in advance. (Click Here for Reservation Form)

MGs on display, photo opportunities, and lunch. Box lunches must be purchased in advance.

6:00-10:00 pm Saturday night banquet at DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.
