2024 – 37th Annual British Car Festival, Sept. 8th

With more than 250 beautiful cars, this is one of the largest celebrations of British automotive design and engineering in the United States.

In addition to the cars, the festival features a variety of classic car parts vendors, presentations, tech workshops, authentic British food and new car dealers showcasing the latest imports from Great Britain.

Admission for the general public is free, with donations encouraged for Shelter, Inc., which is a non-profit dedicated to providing community based, emergency and longer-term housing for abused and neglected children.

Participant registration fee is $25 before August 25th, $30 after and day of the festival. Prizes are awarded.

The British Car Festival is organized by the British Car Union, which is a non-profit founded in 1986. It consists of representatives from 20 different Chicagoland British car clubs whose sole purpose is to coordinate the events critical to making the British Car Festival a success each September.

11th Annual Westmont Cruisin' Nights & Street Fair Featuring the Chicagoland MG Club This event is for CMGC members. Registration for Food and Parking Spot will end on 8/11/23 @ 5:00 pm. Parking may limited after registration ends. COME CELEBRATE MG’S 100TH ANNIVERSARY "SHINE UP YOUR CAR & COME SHOW IT OFF at the Westmont Cruisin Nights & Street Fair on Thursday August 17th from 5:00 – 9:00, featuring the Chicagoland MG Club. This year we will be Celebrating MG’s 100th Anniversary with new, fun activities. Avoid the traffic come early for games and drinks. This is not your typical Cruisin’ Night. Over 3000 people come weekly to enjoy not only the 225+ classic cars but also live music, food, drinks, children activities and much more. The event is held in Downtown Westmont on Cass Avenue. (Cass Avenue will be closed from Naperville/Chicago Ave. to Burlington to provide plenty of Classic Car parking) Remember this is not a “Car Show” it’s a Cruisin’ Night & Street Fair open to all cars any condition. Cars start arriving around 4:30. All cars should enter the event at Norfolk and Cass. Norfolk is 2 blocks north of Burlington Avenue and 1 block south of Naperville/Chicago Avenue. If you are unable to arrive that early, you are still welcome and can pull in any time during the event. We will be parking all MG’s in front of my office just North of Norfolk Cruise on in…..Have Some Fun….Enjoy The Cars…. (Individually packaged food will be catered in for each Chicagoland MG Club member that is registered)
