SUMMARY:2023 - Fox (River) Hunt\, October 7th
DESCRIPTION:“A-Hunting We Will Go!” (MG’s\, that is!) \nCMGC & VMGCC members are encouraged to drive our LBC’s on a fall afternoon for a couple of hours on country roads near the lower Fox River. \nBefore we start “hunting”\, feel free to have lunch at noon at Gray’s Mill Estate in Montgomery\, and spend some time looking around this former mill that has been converted into a restaurant and bar. If the weather is decent\, we can eat seated on the deck that overlooks the river. \nNavigators are strongly encouraged. Why not bring a guest – especially a younger one\, so that we can introduce them to the pleasures of vintage British sports cars. \nWe’ll start along the (Fox) River\, and we’ll end up along the (Illinois) River – at the Dockside Bar and Grill in Ottawa. \nOn route well be several historical sites – either for a brief stop along the way\, or for a longer stop afterwards. \nBring a jacket\, and folding chairs\, as we might want to sit outside (weather permitting) at the end of the Hunt. \nLunch at 12 noon at the historic:\nGray’s Mill Estate\n211 N.
