DESCRIPTION:12th Annual Westmont Cruisin’ Nights & Street Fair\nFeaturing the Chicagoland MG Club & Vintage MG Car Club of Chicagoland \nThis is not your typical Cruisin’ Night.  Over 3\,000 people come weekly to enjoy not only the 225+ classic cars but also live music\, food\, drinks\, children activities and much more. The event is held in Downtown Westmont on Cass Avenue.  (Cass Avenue will be closed from Naperville/Chicago Ave. to Burlington to provide plenty of Classic Car parking)  Remember this is not a “Car Show” it’s a Cruisin’ Night & Street Fair open to all cars any condition. \nCars start arriving around 4:30. SUMMARY:2025 - 38th Annual British Car Festival\, September 7th
DESCRIPTION:With more than 250 beautiful cars\, this is one of the largest celebrations of British automotive design and engineering in the United States.  \nIn addition to the cars\, the festival features a variety of classic car parts vendors\, presentations\, tech workshops\, authentic British food and new car dealers showcasing the latest imports from Great Britain. \nAdmission for the general public is free\, with donations encouraged for Shelter\, Inc.\, which is a non-profit dedicated to providing community based\, emergency and longer-term housing for abused and neglected children. \nParticipant registration fee is $30 before August 25th\, $35 after and day of the festival. Prizes are awarded. \nYour can register: Register British Car Union\nThe British Car Festival is organized by the British Car Union\, which is a non-profit founded in 1986. It consists of representatives from 20 different Chicagoland British car clubs whose sole purpose is to coordinate the events critical to making the British Car Festival a success each September.

SUMMARY:2025 - Fall Triad Car Care Safety Clinic for Seniors\, Oct. 11th
DESCRIPTION:The safety clinic provides a free 40-point safety inspection of vehicles driven by senior citizens (ages 50 and older). \nChicagoland MG Club member Jim Vondran coordinates the Triad Car Safety Clinic each Spring and Autumn. The event grows each year as the Triad organization’s outreach to seniors continues to expand. Seniors are often subjected to unscrupulous mechanics who try to get the seniors to have unnecessary extra services. We rely heavenly on the club members to evaluate the seniors’ vehicles and advise them as to what may or may not need attention.\nVolunteers from the CMGC\, the Chicago area Model T Club and the Windy City Miata Club help in servicing and inspecting the vehicles. \nVintage and antique cars will again be on display: most are vehicles owned by our volunteer “car guys” who help preform the inspections.
