DESCRIPTION:All aboard the Amtrak (Blue Water) train. Leave the driving to Amtrak\, take a road trip with CMGC friends in January 2026.  \nAMTRAK Road Trip 2026  \nJanuary 16th – 18th\, 2026 \nFor 2026 we will be visiting a new destination\, Lansing\, Michigan. \nHome of the R. E. Olds Museum \nWe will be departing Chicago Union Station on Friday January 16th and returning Sunday January 18th. \nDetails for AMTRAK:      \nTrain # 364 (Blue Water) departs Chicago Union Station JAN 16th at 4:00 pm\, arriving at East Lansing at 8:55 pm. \nTrain # 365 (Blue Water) departs East Lansing JAN 18th at 8:54 am\, arriving back at Chicago Union Station at 11:45 am. \nPlan on meeting in the Union Station food concession area at 2:00 pm. \nFeel free to bring snacks\, appetizers and perhaps a beverage to enjoy on the ride to East Lansing. \nHotel: Double Tree by Hilton Lansing Michigan. 111 North Grand Ave\, Lansing\, Michigan \n(517) 267-3456. \nTo make reservations\, call 517-482-0188.  Each guest must identify themselves as part of the Chicagoland MG Club group and use code 92X.  Reservations need to be made before 12/17/2025 to receive the discounted rate of $134.00 per night before taxes. \nOn Saturday\, we will be visiting the R.E.
