My grandfather bought this 1973 Midget when it was a few years old from a pair of sisters in Springfield Illinois. They worked for the state and walked a couple of blocks to work every day. They only used this car to go to the grocery store and to drive to St. Louis on occasion to visit family. He only drove it a few times a year around town. The result is a 1973 Midget with 10,425 miles. As he grew older and couldn’t drive anymore, he refused to sell it. It sat for 12 years in his garage.

After his passing my father decided to get it running again. The car has been completely overhauled. New battery, brakes, shocks, belts, tires, fuel system including a new Weber carburetor, air filter and intake manifold have all been replaced. Everything is original including the rims, convertible top, tonneau cover, tools and tool bag. The original air filter, manifold, carburetor, and a car cover are included with the car.
