Wasn't that shirt yellow once?
The big nuts on the inner a-arm pivots are left loose until the weight of the car is set down on the suspension, then tightened to hold the new rubber bushings in a centered position for least stress during operation. The sway bar is a simple bolt in from this point, as the mounting points were in the frame from the factory, even though the '76 MGB did not originally have a sway bar. Now we patiently await Terry's next trip to the autocross track. We think we will fine one happy smile on his face after the first lap.
