When Tom's dad retired, he dropped a hint about wanting a sports car again (he didn't have one since his TD's and TC in the early 70's). Tom found a 77B in St. Louis in February of 98. Not too bad overall - other than 4 different shades of white!

He did all of the necessary work, engine, OD, tires, rust, etc. All the while keeping an eye on the 8th of August. That's when Tom's dad was arriving from Virginia to get his car! Some long days, longer nights and weekends payed off. Looking at the next picture - I think he's happy with the results.

The dash plaque Tom's wife had made sums it all up:
