"I made a custom wood dash for my A using a borrowed original dash which I used as the template. .... I made another tracing onto paper. .... I can look for it and send it off to you".

"Here is the progress report. First I Scanned the dash image, and got all the curves for the holes and roundover sizes correct, and then programmed tool pathing. I cut the first prototype this afternoon out of some MDF, and it turns out that some of my settings were incorrect, so the false speaker grille and horn are too small. Also I plan on making the false radio blank plate a little larger, and using the CNC to drill the mounting holes for the MG badge that goes on the blanking plate. I plan on cutting the real thing in another week or so, once all the kinks are worked out and the stock material gets glued up and prepped".
