They called their archives department in Ohio and came up with a formula in their Delfleet Essential line. "There have been some recommendations for Bill Hirsch engine enamel recently, and I thought you might be interested in a potential 'gotcha'.
The first tin I bought was too brown and when I sent a sample to Bill many years ago, he matched it. The first tin appears to be more a T-type engine color but I think the later one is pretty good. The attached pictures show the different batches and identical parts painted with paint from each tin.
The message is: when purchasing, make sure you get the right batch number.
