The Steering Column

The new officers have been elected, a new year is started and I have one last Steering Column to write. Somewhere in this Driveline are the election results and I want to congratulate all of the individuals that ran. This January meeting will be the official turn over of the gavel to the new Chairperson. Please come join us on the 20th to welcome your new officers.

The next year should be full of new changes for the club. We, the old and the new officers, are working hard to make the club very exciting and worth your membership. One of the first changes will be in our Annual/ Awards Banquet meeting. In the past we have held a separate dinner meeting to have out annual meeting and to hand out the previous years awards. This February we will not have a separate monthly meeting but rather combine all three events into our normal meeting at the Golden Pheasant on February 17th.

One major area to look for changes in the club is within our WEB pages. We want to make sections of it as “MEMBERS only”. Such things as the current Driveline would be placed into that section. Don’t look for major changes here, we want to take small steps and do things right. If you have not already noticed, on the inside front cover we will be publishing a “Password”. This will be our first step to pull information out of the non-members sections. We have not started the “Members only” area but it won’t be to far off.

Again, I want take this time to thank all of you for the help that I have received over the last two years. Please continue to support the new officers as they help bring this club forward.
