The Rally Corner
In this Rally Corner I will explain the point system.
First there will be a Drivers championship award. This is done by taking the total of all points from Rallies and Autocrosses. The autocross points are divided in half to total up for the Drivers Championship. Also the same MG must be used in Rallies and autocrosses for the points to count toward this award.
There will be an Autocross Champion and a Rally Champion. These will be based on points received only in the type of competition the award is for.
The rallies are scored by each Rally Master using the rules for that rally. A first place is 10 points, A second is 9 points, Third 8 points etc. This goes down to 1point which everyone will get for showing up and running (in a MG). There are no points given if any other car than a MG is used.
In the autocrosses you will be given points for your class. First 10 points, second 9 points etc. down to one point. If there are less than two cars in a class it will be up to the Autocross event Master to decide if classes will be united or not. So if say two MGC’s show up the event Master may decide to run them in another class as fairly as possible.

Safety fast,
