The CMGC is doing a project car!
Jim Evans is donating a late rubber bumper MGB to the club and Wade Keene is donating shop space in Homewood. Work will start at 9am on Saturday May 13 with plans of it being completed for the big September LBC show.
NOTICE: - - - There will be no project tech sesson on May 13, as the project car will not be there in time. First scheduled project date has been changed to Sunday, May 21, 2006, starting at 10am.
The first task will be to assess and plan the project and begin to dismantle the car as much as needed. The plan is to work on the car every Saturday (or Sunday if there's a club event on Saturday, and no work on Memorial Day Weekend) until it's done. The shop has air, hand and air tools, a welder, etc., but it would be very helpful for people to being their own hand tools to use; my shop is a one man band so I don't have a surplus of tools. Keep an eye on the website for notes and photos on progress and what upcoming things we'll be working on. You can also contact Jim or me to get updates, Wade Keene.
