It’s just about time for that first driving event…”The Spring Chicken Tour”. Ok folks, time to head up north! So far we have ten cars lined up to participate, with a couple of other members still pending! We will meet at Bill Reece’s cottage in Lake Geneva, WI at 10:30 AM. Then we will depart for the driving around 11:00 AM. We’ll be taking some nice rolling and curving roads that travel all around the lake. When we cross into the town of Lake Geneva we’ll pick up a couple of very nice rustic routes.
After the driving is complete we’ll head back to Bill’s for a “Spring Chicken Lunch”. I will be providing a full lunch including the sandwiches, side dishes, desert and drinks (pop and water). I will NOT be providing alcoholic beverages due to it being a club event (feel free to bring your own if you would like, plenty of ice and storage is available). There will be a small cost per person ($7.50) to help cover the expenses.
Since food is involved, we really need to have a confirmation for the number of people that will be joining us. Please email Bill Reece or John Schroeder to confirm. After confirmation we will email back directions to Lake Geneva. I have three (3) different sets to the lake that include the Interstate, Route 12 or for the far west ‘burbs, Route 47.
