CMGC June Autocross
Apparently it's a dirty little secret that MGs are sportscars ... and an even dirtier little secret that we have an autocross to exercize them that way! While some of the other club members are taking a week+ and hundreds of dollars to drive through the twisties of the Great Smokies, quite possibly stuck behind someone who thinks that their throttle cable will snap if they use it the way Abingdon intended, you can come to Chicago's western suburbs on Sunday morning, June 25th at 9:00 am at the Cantera Theater parking lot (see directions in the AHCA gymkhana announcement) to have the kind of fun driving your car that "the man" won't allow you an the public roads. As usual, bring a safe car, a helmet if you have one, and $15 for the fee. We will take as many runs as you want, usually folks are ready to move on to lunch after 6 or so runs. If you're worried about competing against the more experienced drivers, there will be a novice class and a rubber bumper class. See you there!
