Summer’s End 2004 Autocross
August 29, 2004 -- Warrenville, IL
We had our last Warrenville autocross of the season Sunday morning. Thanks to Wilbur and company who set up a tight course with narrow gates that was also pretty fun, at least I thought so. This autocross also was the first time we used our new timing equipment. All seemed to agree that it made great improvements in running the event. Results with times are as follows:
Modified Class
David Lieb 38.544
Wade Keene 40.379
MGA Class
Paul Urquhart 42.047
|
Chrome bumper MGB
Wilbur Mennell 38.800
Gary Cooke 40.164
Kyle Sieben 41.579
Rubber Bumper MGB
Russ Fitch 43.670
|
I’d also like to pat myself on the back for killing more cones than anyone else. We’re inviting everyone showing their cars at the BCU Festival to the remaining two Joliet Autocrosses. It should be a chance to run with some cars we don’t normally get to go against. See you at the BCU Fest and then the autocross!
