(Continued from page4) …. And the car shows. What a great time to relax in the sun, talk about cars and get some ideas of what to do next to enhance your car’s appearance. (Maybe even motivated to start working on the ‘project car’ again). It never ceases to amaze me at what a person can do with a little bit of money, time and ingenuity to make a vintage car look like the hottest thing on the road. (How did they stuff that chromed V8 turbocharged monster into that small engine space?). Autocross seems to be the only area I haven’t ventured into. Oh I’ve been to a couple of the events as a spectator, but not on the track. Maybe 2017 will be the year.
Looking back, 2016 was a great year for the Chicagoland MG Club and looking forward to an even better 2017!
