location, crowded with MGs and Triumphs and a few other pre-1980 British cars. Next day in in Newman, GA we had another walk-in, this time an older lady accompanying three young boys who would like a closer look at the little car. So, we did the right thing, allow sit-ins and pictures and enjoy the happy grins on the kids’ faces. Another good day.

Sunday-Monday a visit with Glenn Fountaine in Peachtree City, GA where we spent two long days working on his 1975 MG Midget 1500 with Weber carburetor. By now you should know how this goes. -- Drill and tap the intake manifold for vacuum ports for anti-run-on valve and vacuum retard distributor. Pop the top off the carburetor for minor mods to seal the original top vent and add a threaded vent for vapor recovery and anti-run-on port. Clean a corroded fuse block and install correct fuses. Install Cadillac horns (woo-hoo), fix a couple of wiring errors to get wipers and lights working, replace a faulty flasher to make turn signals work. Had a

short test drive where everything worked except the brakes (oops). Almost no fluid in the master cylinder, and no fluid on hand to fill it, so that was end of the test drive. Found a small fluid leak on the LR wheel, and likely one of the front calipers as well, so begin a shopping list and work list for brake repairs.
