I think it is now obvious, Spring is in the air. I’m seeing motorcycles, shiny convertibles, and British cars on the road. We just completed our Spring Tune-up and at least these cars are ready.
Mine not so much. I had it out on the road last week before my trip to Los Vegas with Penny and it felt good to have the top down – even though a mite chilly. I put the car back into the garage and haven’t been out since.
It is great to see there are many car projects in the works. Some quite ambitious. Pat Guest is tackling structural rail replacement with the help of various club members; Kevin Carlson is updating his braking system; Bill Kalafut is tackling a MG YB restoration to name a few. A MGA project car is in the works for the club. This will be a first for a MGA restoration. Looking forward to getting this one started.
If you got a project in mind and need some help, let one ot the club staff know and we will get the Garage Teams (North od South) to get with you and get your project going.
It’s great to have the backing of so many club members. See you on the road…
