Monthly Column of Driving Events
Hello Everyone!!!!
SO……. Those famous “April Showers” brought……SNOW SHOWERS!!!! That’s going to really confuse our May flowers from coming up!!! Actually, the few beautiful days we had in April sprouted some growth – but now what????
Hopefully Mother Nature got all that wintery weather out of her system and the month of May will finally bring consistent warm weather!! After all…..what is she thinking??? IT’S DRIVING SEASON FOR PETES SAKE!!!!!!
I heard the turn out for the spring tune up was a nice crowd and very successful!! They had a BEAUTIFUL day to keep those garage doors open while they tuned up and checked out their MGs!! I did not hear of any mishaps, thank God!! Wilbur and Cowboy Dave should have all the details on how the event went in this month’s issue.
I will have information on how the Spring Brunch went in next month’s issue. That took place on Sunday, April 28th (a day after that surprise spring snow storm!!) UGH!!!!!
There are three (3) events taking place this month. The Miata Autocross I, Sunday, May 5th, The Car Care Safety Clinic for Seniors, Saturday May 11th and The MGs on the Oregon Trail Tour, Thursday, May 16th through Sunday, May 19th.

This is the time to show off your MG’s to all the Highland game spectators! It’s always a GREAT time and hopefully the weather will cooperate and not rain or be too hot!!

Traverse City, Michigan
Sunday, June 23 through Wednesday, June 26, 2019
You know, June is not that far off and if you didn’t book a room yet, you are out of luck at the main
lodging location—Gray Wolf Lodge.
But wait…. Our President - Dean Hickenlooper— has secured a location near the event site at The

planning to attend the event — one, two, multiple days — so he can finalize plans to caravan to MG
