The 2018 Autocross season is here!! Our First Auto cross will be June 9th. This is an all-day event. We typically show up about 8am. Please come out and join us. If you don’t want to drive you can still join us and cheer for those who are running. Also I would really like someone to take pictures of the MG’s while they are on the course. It makes the articles more interesting for the Driveline and those of us that are participating can only take pictures during our “Rest” period. So we Miss those that are driving while we are working the course. I NEED A PHOTOGRAPHER! PLEASE!

For those that want to drive. Registration is now open. Register as early as you can as space fills up quickly. To register go to www.windycitymiataclub.com. Select Autocross from the choices at the top of the page. This takes you to the Autocross page. Scroll down to the 2018 Schedule and click on the date (6/9/2018). You will be redirected to the MotorsportReg.com registration site. Cost for Non-Miata club member without a Miata is $37.00. This is a real good value for the amount of runs you’ll get. Click on the red “Continue” button and you will be given the choice to sign in (if you already have an account on MotorsportReg.com) or create a new account. If you need help creating an account, contact me and I’ll try to help. After you sign in you will be asked for your club member number. Leave this blank. Click that you are not a member of WCMC and press “Continue”. On the next page choose Non-Member Registration. Select Non-Member Non-Miata for $37.00. If you’ve registered before your Vehicle info will pop up. If not choose “Add new” and fill out your vehicle info. Choose a vehicle number greater than 100 that is not reserved. If that number is available you will be assigned it. You can specify 3 possible numbers when you first enter your vehicle info. There is a “Number not available ?” link that will allow you to email the registrar to get more info or you can reach out to one of us that have been autocrossing awhile and we can try to see what numbers are available. For your “CLASS” Choose “Visiting Club #1”. If we get enough folks we will get our own class. If not Well You really only race against yourself anyways. Read and then Accept the “cancellation terms” and then “Proceed to checkout”. You will be directed to the check-out screen where you will enter your credit card info to make your payment.
