Why is it every time I think about taking the MG out of the garage and taking a spin around the town, it decides to rain or worse yet, a few must-do home chores need to be performed first.
What tasks you say? Well the grass (or are those weeds) have taken over the yard and the village have an ordinance against prairie landscaping. Or maybe it was that loose kitchen cabinet door that should have only required a screw tightened now requires some major repair since it fell off the cabinet. This is what seems to be happening to me recently and I’m at wits end. In past years my sons were at home and I was in full delegation mode; now not so much. Oh, they drop by and let me know I’ve developed prairie landscaping and better keep on top of it or the village will be on my back.
Maybe now I’ll head to the garage, clean off the windscreen, rev up the engine and take the MG for a spin… the grass can grow a little longer
See you on the road…
