Those of you who know me may find this hard to believe, but I’m in hot water at home. No, not soaking in the hot tub, or even getting my hands into warm dishwater, but more akin to being in the dog house. And I don’t even have a dog. Last week I went on a fishing trip with my buddy George, leaving Deb at home alone. Normally she would be thankful for the solitude but unfortunately she had laryngitis at the time. But in my defense, how was I supposed to know? She didn’t say anything. Had I been aware of the situation I would have stayed home and served her hot tea with honey. And enjoy the peace and quiet.

But at least while I was up in Wisconsin, where we have a VCR, I had the opportunity to review some VHS tapes that have been in in the club’s library for quite some time. Three tapes produced by Shell Oil on the history of motor racing between the wars and a fourth on production MGs.
