CMGC president Dave Novak opened the meeting at 8:00 pm.
Car Projects
Seth Jones is currently assisting new member Luiz Rizental with getting his recently purchased 77 MGB operational. Radiator issues and a troublesome electrical problem with the brake lights.
George Phariss has completed a repair of the braking system replacing hoses and the master cylinder.
Phil Wydra replaced his front wheel bushings at Steve Skaggs’s shop. The results were quite noticeable.
Dino Perez is working on the front suspension of his recently purchased 1953 YB sedan.
Dave Novak fired up the computer and showed a portion of a video entitled “An MG is Born”. A fascinating and detailed insight into the engineering, design and restoration of the world’s most popular and well-known sports cars; and a fantastic reference tool for the existing or would-be MGB restorers. The DVD is available in the club library.
Break/ 50:50 raffle – CMGC member – Dean Hickenlooper -- was the winner of $10. He decided to add his winnings to the existing pot of $36 and let the money rollover again until next month. The pot is now at $46.
