Sunday morning brought a bit of a mystery as Jamie and Tim continued to have car issues. Fortunately, they were able to start their car and decided to head home with an escort from crackerjack MG mechanic, Dean (and Kerry) Hickenlooper. The remaining group hated to see them depart early but once again “the drive must go on”!

And a beautiful drive it was. The weather was ideal and the winding roads passed by many farms and pastures with cows, horses, and sheep. There were hills and curves through sunny fields and shady lanes. Each hillcrest brought expansive views of the rolling terrain. It was a perfect blend of exciting roads and relaxing scenery. The final stop was at Galena Cellars Vineyard to enjoy refreshments and live guitar music on the porch.
