By mid-June we were
in Collingwood, ON (east end of Lake Huron, north of Toronto) to meet up with Georgian Bay British Car Club for a short tour to Micro North micro car meet in Oro-Medonte, ON. Interesting place, please don't step on the cars. A few dayslater we had a visit with David Holmes in Elmira, Ontario. He races 1949 TC and a 1957 MGA (with double articulated body), while his son races an MG Midget and MGA Twin Cam. Too many toys to count, but fun taking pictures. Just down the block another visit with a neighbor who has an MGA Coupe and some other eclectic collector vehicles. Next day we blundered into a shop that was not previously on our Shops list, Van Holst Automotive Ltd in Waterloo. With a few employees they do about 30% of their business with classic British cars, well known in the region. In the

evening we had a meeting in St Agatha, ON with Ontario MG 'T' Register for "pub night West of West" (one of four regional groups). They turned out at least four MGA but no T-types (apparently someone knew we were coming).

On the 21st we had an evening meeting in Fonthill, ON with British Saloon Car Club of Canada (Niagara group). Sorry to report no MG Magnettes present, but there were an Austin A30 (1952-1956), an Austin A95 Westminster (1956–1959), a Rover P5 "3 Liter" (Mark 2, 1962), an MGB GT and a vintage Mini.
