July is a big month for all the national conventions – NAMGAR, NAMGBR, AMGCRA, NAMMMR – to name a few. We were fortunate this year to have the MGB convention (NAMGBR) held in northern Michigan – only a few hours away. (okay more than a few hours!)
With all the national exposure, our Driving calendar was hard-pressed to contain a few events locally. The Lagrange Pet Parade was a revived newcomer, and the Highland Games & Car Show is gaining in popularity after only being on our calendar for a few years.
But don’t despair, there are plenty of rallies and tours in the works all through the summer. The newest event will be a trip to the Arlington International Racecourse - a day at the horse races. Should be an exciting day.
