Next stop scheduled is Botham Vineyards. Why do they call it a vineyard when one can get a yard of cloth or a yard of beer, but not a yard of wine or grapes?
"How now, Thersites! What, lost in a labyrinth?" I guess that I get did get something out of the play after all. It wouldn't be one of John's tours without his famous "en mass" U-turns. But I don't think that he gets lost, he's just letting us practice our close quarter maneuvering. And the opportunity to drop the hoods (tops). We do get to the winery. A beautiful spot and most people seem to find a treasure or two to take home.
"For honour travels in a strait so narrow, where but one goes abreast." This Shakespeare guy seems to be on to something, I wonder if he wrote anything else? Our roads were not straight, but they were narrow. And hilly. Plenty of use of 2nd and 3rd gears. Great driving and scenery on both days.

Lunch is at The New Glarus Hotel, specializing in Swiss-style food. Outstanding! And guess what?
The New Glarus Brewery is just up the street. I guess we will just have to go there too. At the brewery I discover that Deb had bought a case of wine at Botham's and had it hidden on the parcel shelf in a spot that I had set aside for a case of beer. But its OK, I think that I may have a bottle or two at home already. From there people were on their own to stay in town for a while or meander their way back home.

Here our the numbers:
No break downs or serious car problems.
1 pick up truck, 1 Pontiac Solstice coupe (nice car), 2 ‘vettes, 2 Triumph’s, 2 A’s, 1 Midget, 1 C, 1 GT, 19 B’s, and Reinout's M-Type, which he and Nea Geiske drove for the entire weekend with the top down. And some of the B’s never had their tops down, for shame.
Kate Skegg won the quiz.
John and Ann, once again, win our gratitude for a job well done.
Toast to John & Ann Schroeder!
