Monthly Meeting Minutes
Third Monday, November 19, 2012
Attendance: 21 members
President Dino Perez opened the meeting at 8:00 pm.
Car Projects
Scott Boyer noted that he is still working on repairing a noisy differential.
Past Events
Halloween Run – 10/28 – 16 drivers attended this event that started in Prospect Heights and finished with lunch at Emmett's Brewing Co in Palatine.
Tune-Down and Chili party – 11/4 – Dave Bralich noted that this year’s event followed the same routine as prior years. A car hoist was made available to better service the 10 cars that attended. Of course there was plenty of chili for all.
PADS Oil Change Day – 11/17 – Reinout Vogt noted that there was a good turnout of clients for this event. Nine CMGC members were able to service and inspect 12 cars in the afternoon project.

Cruise to the Rock – 11/22 – Ann Snyder noted that this annual event will be the same routing as in past years – meet at ‘The Rock’ at 9:00 am on Thanksgiving morning, share some fellowship with many of the other organizations that participate in this event, then head to Stages Family Restaurant for brunch before heading home.

CMGC Holiday Party – 12/8 – It may be early to think of holiday parties, but not too early to arrange the event. This year we will again hold the event at the Bella Vista Restaurant. We have upgraded the menu to include prime rib and will be utilizing the larger room. The cost for the members will be $22.00 per person. A reservation form will be in the November Driveline.
New Business
Club Staff Member nominations – Final nominations were accepted for the open staff positions. David Novak accepted the nomination for Secretary.
A voting ballot will be inserted in the December Driveline.
Meeting was adjourned with members participating in the 36th Club anniversary with strawberry filled cake and champagne.
50-50 Raffle – Jim Renkar went home $9 richer after having the winning ticket.
Meeting adjourned at 8:47 pm.
