“If winter comes can spring be far behind? ‘’ Thank you Mr. Shelley for those fine words of encouragement from an Ode to the West Wind. Winter finally got here, so where the heck is spring? As I write this (Amtrak weekend) there is still a quite a nip in the air. I don’t know if Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow or not, but at our house Warrenville Wendy, our resident woodchuck, is still hibernating under our rear stoop. She certainly ain’t chucking no wood. By the way, how much wood can a woodchuck chuck anyway? And why?
But it won’t be long before the weather starts to improve. The days are getting longer and the sun has a little more warmth to it. So get going on those winter car projects that you have been meaning to attend to, you don’t want to get caught with your (oil) pans down on that first nice day. Looking to purchase some hard to find parts? Maybe you can pick them at the Swap Meet, this year on the Ides of March. Perhaps you will have better luck on that date than that Julius fellow from old Roma had.
