CMGC Annual Business Meeting
2021 CMGC Summary – Philip Wydra
Club project car - One of the two project cars that were donated sold for $2,700. The other project care is being evaluated. Apparently its biggest contribution to the club is rust.
Club finances - No changes to the current dues.
Traveling Mechanics - Due to the continuation of COVID, the traveling mechanics have scaled way back. Most of their work has been confined to working out of Tom Raddatz’s garage.
Swap Meet - Again, due to COVID, the 2021 swap meet was cancelled. The 2022 Swap Meet is planned for March 27th.
Web Site - The web site committee has been working hard all year thanks to ZOOM. Hopefully there will be a presentation of what the new site will look like soon.
Natter & Noggin - The even number month Natter & Noggin is still being held at Finn McCool’s in Schaumburg but has changed to the second Wednesday. The odd month Natter & Noggin is now held at Tom Raddatz’s garage in LaGrange Highlands on the second Wednesday.

2022 Goals

Continue to look for new items of regalia that club members would be interested in and either have Lands’ End stock them or purchase them.
Get a back-up to Lands’ End that members can order online club regalia.
2021 Driving Events Report – Jamie Schafer
In 2021 we had 10 Driving events. Coming out of a past year with no events scheduled except for (1) – the Fall Tune-down, organized by Dave Bralich, I am thrilled that 10 MG Members stepped up to make sure all of us had exhilarating driving tours and Rally’s to participate in. Thank you again to all the organizers/tour hosts and rally masters for a GREAT and successful driving season while still dealing with the Pandemic. There were impressive turnouts for all 10 events which goes to show everyone was THRILLED to get out and see everyone again. We were all certainly geared up to once again drive in our beautiful MG’s on amazing scenic routes these organizers put together!
Program Summary - 2021 Marks our 9th Year that both the Vintage MG Car Club of Chicago and the Chicagoland MG Club participated in driving events together. The combined calendar offered a variety of driving events/rally and participation was exceptional given we are still dealing with this pandemic. The 10 Events saw 136 different Members participating 176 times.
As in previous years, only CMGC and VMGCC members were eligible for annual awards including the Moss Motors and Victoria British Trophies. We did not have any Auto crosses in 2021. Scoring was altered and re-designed to balance their relative weight in the overall scoring for the Moss Motors and Victoria British Trophies.
2021 Driveline – Victor L’Heureux
The CMGC Driveline was successfully published and distributed via two methods of delivery to over 230 members and other MG car clubs monthly. The Driveline is the members’ newsletter – the members provide the articles and photographs of club events and activities to be published by the club Editor. This has been a challenging year for Driveline with nearly all driving events cancelled. The average publication contains 16 pages of club activities and articles.
