Hot dogs, MGs and Poker. If you don’t know what these have in common, you missed the first ever Hot Dog Poker Run. Phil and Sandy Wydra once again put on a fantastic event. deck at three different stops attempting to finish with the winning poker hand. In addition, we answered questions along the way, some easy, some a little more challenging. We followed the precisely-written directions on some charming, winding, country roads taking us through scenic areas that included farms, fields and prestigious estates. I don’t know how they managed to bring the “Tail of the Dragon” from the Great Smoky Mountains to the northern suburbs of Chicago, but our route masters found a road that was a great imitation. There was a fun stretch that had us constantly testing our turning skills.
