October – OMG!! (Oh my gourd). Just when I thought it was finally nice enough to drive around town with the top down, I found it to be a little cool on the ol’ noggin’. So, I put on my CMGC cap (with retaining strap clipped to the back of my shirt collar) and continued down the McHenry Scenic Route to outside Woodstock. Great ride.
Now to get ready for the Wine, Cheese, Beer Tour this weekend. Wouldn’t you know it, my intermittent fuel pump issue reared up its ugly head. I need to find that pesky wiring problem behind my dashboard and fix it once-and-for-all. You know the story, as soon as you try to track down an intermittent wire breakage, the problem goes away! Then again, the problem could be something else entirely. It won’t stay ‘broke’ long enough to track down the root cause.
The CMGC was well represented this year in the winner’s circle of the British Car Festival - six out of nine place ribbons were awarded to our club members. Great job guys! It was truly a nice day to be out with our cars.
That’s all for now, and as always….
See you on the road.
