Tally Ho Rally
September 18, 2022
What is more elusive than the cunning fox. So when there is a rally depicting this sly fellow, you can’t expect the event to be a pushover… Rally masters Carl Vogel and Laurel Fredericks did their usual excellent endeavor in presenting a challenging course through some of the areas most beautiful neighborhoods and roadways.
The starting point was the parking lot of the Lucky Monk Restaurant. Everyone was very happy to have nice weather for the event.. Entrants started arriving at 10:00 AM and soon there were sixteen cars and twelve were MG—two T-Series, three MGAs, one MG Midget and six MGBs.
Aaahh, the elusive fox proudly stands...

The rally route provided a fun experience for the participants, with scenic and low traffic MG roads, taking them past open fields, horse pastures, amazing homes, and lovely gardens and landscaping. Many homes had beautiful architecture and one had a “wow” entrance gate. The distance covered by the rally was 51 miles.
A few of the early arrivals for the hunt.
