Abingdon England MG Factory Brick

The Chicagoland MG Club is now in possession of a genuine factory brick from Abingdon! I am not aware if any individual members have one. Club members Bob and Pat Simon of Downers Grove,frequent travelers to England, have secured this piece of automotive history for us. They have a personal friend, Mr. Adrian Goodenough, who worked in the MG Factory Body Shop until the closing in 1980. He secured the brick and the Simons were gracious enough to forward to the club. The officers may have suggestions for any utilization of this club possession. At this point it is resting comfortably and securely ruminating on its glorious history of bringing fun to the motoring public around the world. I will now close before coming maudlin.
