FORE!! Calling all CMGC and VMGCC MG (and golf ball?) drivers!

We will drive our LBCs to see golf courses along roads in southern Cook & DuPage counties, as well as in Will County. The tour will take 90 minutes - starting (teeing off) in Burr Ridge and finishing (putting out) at Jerry Cihak's house (6517 Blackhawk Trail, Indian Head Park 60525).

The Chicagoland area has many well-known and historic golf courses, both public and private. Some have hosted PGA, LPGA, and USGA tournaments. Interesting facts about the courses will be provided for the navigator (caddy) to real aloud to the driver (golfer).

We will meet in the car park area outside of Starbuck’s at the south end of the Burr Ridge Village Center (Just east of County Line Road and just south of I-55 ) at 10:30 am.

The drivers' meeting (at the first tee) will be 10:45 a.m., for an 11:00 a.m. start (tee time).

At about 12:30 p.m. we should start arriving at Jerry's House. (Thank you Jerry, for hosting the 19th hole picnic/cookout).

Let's drive our British cars on this day - the third round of the British Open, held this year at Scotland's Carnoustie Golf Links.
