Overall, we had 20 MGs, two Minis, a Morris Minor, and a Triumph (Dolly, a right-hand drive Dolomite Sport displayed proudly by the proprietor of "The Fix-It Garage"). As usual, many of those in the teeming masses / great unwashed stopped to admire our cars and talk with us about them.
The "Peoples Choice" awards went to the following owners and their cars:
- 1st Place...Brian Donnelly (VMGCC - Charter Member) TC
- 2nd Place...Bob Lee (VMGCC) TD
- 3rd Place...Jerry Cihak(VMGCC / CMGC) TD
- 4th Place...Lisa & Dino Perez (CMGC) Mini
- 5th Place...Kerry & Dean Hickenlooper (CMGC) MGB V8
- 6th Place...Tom Raddatz (CMGC) MGB V6
These cars were then recognized and identified by rosettes prominently placed on them.

4th Place...Lisa & Dino Perez (CMGC) Mini

Once again, this "driving" event was well-received and appreciated. After a hiatus last year (because of the coronavirus), overall, this was our 7th time participating. The Village has always welcomed our members driving our cars to the venue - for all to enjoy. They also gathered many of us in front of MGs for a group picture.
Kudos to Bill and Jean for working with the Village of Westmont to arrange this for our Clubs - and for all their preparation that made this an enjoyable Event worthy to be on our calendar.
Safety Fast!
